Internet Picture Removal

Removing Private Pictures Wrongfully Posted On The Internet

While there is no doubt that the Internet plays a constructive role in our lives, it also brings with it a number of unintended consequences. One of them is the opportunity to defame someone, often anonymously, and do so with worldwide distribution. The term for this is Internet Defamation. One of the more regrettable aspects of Internet Defamation may involve embarrassing pictures, often of a sexual nature, that are posted without the person’s consent.

Our firm has handled a number of these matters successfully. We have utilized existing precedents to compel the poster and/or Internet service provider to remove the offending still-pictures or videos. We are particularly aware of the sensitivity of this sort of representation and seek to treat the matter with the appropriate discretion and confidentiality.

Our firm welcomes the opportunity to consult with people who wish to explore whether non-consensual picture postings can be removed through legal process.
