It is axiomatic that New York City is an international hub of commerce and culture. There is a tremendous level of sophistication in this state, with more than 3 million cases passing through its court system each year.

Having more than two decades of in-depth experience in commercial and business law, including both transactional and litigation practice, the Nissenbaum Law Group is uniquely suited to New York City’s legal environment. The firm’s practice includes such matters as commercial disputes, corporate and LLC formation, contract negotiation, shareholder issues, legal and regulatory compliance, trademark and copyright filings and sales of businesses. The litigation practice includes such matters as claims in the State and Federal Courts for fraud, contract breach, statutory violations and intellectual property infringement. The firm also handles administrative regulatory proceedings and has significant experience in matters involving trademark, copyright, Internet, entertainment, sports and leisure law. This “full-service for businesses” approach grants the frequent opportunity to apply novel and forward-leaning approaches to legal matters. It is just one reason the firm has been awarded the highest professional rating (AV) by the Martindale Hubbell® Rating Service.

This Nissenbaum Law Group’s New York practice is robust and covers both complex commercial transactions and litigation matters.  The firm’s office is located in the Wall Street area, but the practice extends to the outer boroughs and upstate New York, as well.  It has additional offices in New Jersey (Union), as well as Texas (Dallas) and Pennsylvania (Philadelphia). This allows the firm’s attorneys to serve a wide cross-section of business clients.

In recent years, there have been an enormous number of Internet and high-tech start-ups, as well as established digital companies, that have located in the New York Meatpacking District. The firm’s focus for such large and small entrepreneurs will presumably range from Internet and technology law to the legal aspects of apps, voice assistants, AR, VR & gaming. In addition, such clients often need not only the standard legal services involving commercial contracts and transactional matters, but also basic intellectual property protections such as copyrights, trademarks and NDAs.
